Depends on what you mean ‘strange’, aside from being an instructor, my life is not as interesting as others.

I don’t think so, or if someone did, the rumors never got to me.

I sincerely don’t pay attention to what people say. I appreciate when people listen to those things and try to see if those rumors are true, by giving themselves a chance to meet the person affected by those rumors.
